Frequency of Treatment
Every 4–6 weeks as part of your monthly skin maintenance, or as needed.
Pause retinoids + exfoliating acids for 3–5 days before your appointment, unless otherwise directed by your provider.
Avoid waxing, chemical peels, or other aggressive exfoliation on the treatment area for approximately one week beforehand.
Avoid excessive sun exposure or arriving with a sunburn. We cannot dermaplane irritated or compromised skin.
Let us know about any active breakouts, rashes, irritation, cold sores, or recent skin treatments before your appointment.
Come as you are. Makeup is okay, and we’ll thoroughly cleanse your skin as part of your treatment.
Mild temporary pinkness or sensitivity may occur.
For the remainder of the day, avoid unnecessary heat, excessive sweating, saunas/steam, aggressive exfoliation, picking or rubbing the skin, and other activities or products that could increase irritation.
Follow the individualized skincare instructions provided by their santāl provider and wear broad-spectrum SPF daily.
