Pre-Treatment Instructions
Area must be shaved 24 hours prior to your appointment.
Treatment area hair must be its natural color.
Do not wear makeup, lotion, or deodorant in the area being treated on the day of your appointment.
Avoid direct sun exposure, tanning lotions, tanning beds, self-tanner, or spray tan products for at least 2 weeks prior to treatment.
Avoid drinking more than 2 alcoholic beverages 24 hours prior to treatment.
Avoid waxing, threading, or tweezing in the area for at least 4 weeks.
Laser services cannot be performed during pregnancy or if breastfeeding.
Post Care Instructions
Redness and bumps are normal and may be present for a few hours after. It is normal for the treatment area to feel like a mild sunburn. If sensitivity persists, a cold compress may be used.
Cleanse the treatment area gently using a mild cleanser for the first 24-48 hours.
Do not wear makeup, lotion, moisturizer or deodorant for 24 hours. Keep the treated area clean and dry until any irritation has subsided.
Dead hairs will begin to shed 5-30 days after your treatment.
Apply sunscreen (SPF 30+) in the treated area over the course of your laser hair removal journey and for 2 months after your last session to reduce the chance of hyper/hypopigmentation (lightening or darkening of the skin).
Do not pick, scratch, wax, thread or tweeze the treatment area. Other than shaving, do not use any other hair removal methods or products during the course of your laser sessions as it will prevent you from achieving the best results.
Hair growth varies. On average, most will experience a level of hair-free happiness after 6-10 sessions (and yes, it really is life changing)!

Cancellation Policy
santāl skin adheres to a 24-hour Cancellation / No-Show policy to respect our providers’ time. A credit card on file is required to reserve all appointments. Failure to show and appointments canceled less than 24-hours prior to your appointment will be charged 50% of your booked laser service(s) and all other treatments will forfeit the $50 booking deposit. We kindly ask that you reschedule or cancel at least 24-hours in advance. By scheduling an appointment, you are agreeing to our cancellation/no-show policy.
